What Telemedicine Can be used for:
- Initial consultations to decide next steps.
- Follow-up appointments to address questions, concerns, and gauge response to treatment.
- Dosage adjustments for pain medications (non-narcotic) prescribed by our doctors only.
- Diagnostic Studies: Blood work, Imaging studies ( X-Rays, MRIs, and CT’s), and Functional Tests ( EMG’s) can be ordered.
- Referrals: Physical Therapy, Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture, and other healthcare professional referrals can be ordered.
- Education: discuss your issues with a licensed physician to learn and understand your pain and treatment options.
- Second Opinions
What Telemedicine Can Not be used for:
- Visits that require a physical exam to properly diagnose and treat a problem.
- Interventional procedures such as injections
- Prescribing any new medication
- Managing any narcotic medication
